Settings

The Settings menu available from the hamburger menu allows you to change a few options within Swift, a few other settings outside of Swift, within the iOS settings also affect the experience.

Once you have selected Settings, the below screen will display.

Auto Sync

This allows Swift to automatically synchronise with the PMS based on the Frequency. To manually synchronise turn this off. We recommend leaving the setting On.

Frequency

How often Swift will contact the PMS for updates.

Mobile Data

When enabled, Swift will use your mobile data connection or WiFi is available. If turned off it will use the WiFi connection when it is available.

Bluetooth Printer

Allows you to select the bluetooth printer setup within iOS settings.

Once you have selected 'Tap to connect', the below screen will appear. select the printer you wish to connect to from the list of available printers.

You will need to pair your blue tooth label printer with your iOS device, do this through iOS -> Settings -> Blue Tooth .

Follow the Printer instructions, the printer will need to be iOS compatible, we have tested with a Zebra ZQ520.

In Swift, select Settings and select the Bluetooth printer for use when treating.

When using a new printer, this may need to be calibrated with the correct label dimensions, if this is step is not taken then many labels could be wasted per print.

This is done by installing the label printer on a Windows device and using the drivers' calibration option.

Location Settings

Within the iOS settings , select Privacy and Location Services, ensure this is turned on. This will allow the mobile app the use the traffic and GPS to update the travel time in your work list.

Device Security

The app requires that you have PIN security on your device as a minimum, we recommend you use Touch ID to secure your device. The App will use this to authenticate your login when the app is opened.
